Partnering with the world’s best.

We join forces with socially-conscious companies and foundations on collaborative fundraising campaigns, multi-year grants, co-branded merchandise, employee engagement opportunities, in-kind product development, and sponsorships that complement their goals and our shared mission to transform the lives of children around the globe.

Together, our mutually-beneficial partnerships are empowering the next generation with life-changing mobility treatments and the tools to live independently - creating a more equitable and inclusive world for all those living with disabilities.

Directly investing in the lives of our CoolKids, and their families.

Arthur B Schultz's Foundation has been a loyal supporter of our programs across Asia and Africa since 2013 -- providing over 300 children with prosthetic limbs, customized orthotic devices, and appropriately fitted wheelchairs that prevent secondary health complications and significantly improve our CoolKids' quality of life.

The Jordan Thomas Foundation's multi-year commitment to provide Joshi modular prosthetic limbs to reach more children has served over 100 CoolKids since 2021 -- restoring their mobility, providing all the opportunities mobility offers, and allowing them to enjoy an active and healthy childhood.

In 2020, World of Children provided a grant to our COVID Emergency Fund so our programs could continue operating safely throughout the pandemic, and ensuring our CoolKids and their families did not have to choose between their mobility and their health. In 2013, our co-founder C. Mead Welles won the World of Children's Health Award for our outstanding achievements in the field of health care.

Corporations.

Transforming the lives of the next generation, together.

Bitstamp has been a proud supporter of our mission since 2021. This year, in honor of the EU Mobility Week, their employees will be stepping into a CoolKid's shoes and competing to see who can bike, walk, or run the most kilometers in one week to reflect on the life-changing difference of mobility.

Donate A Photo allows users to download their app, take a photo, and make an impact. When our supporters share a photo, Johnson & Johnson donates $1 to the organization. In 2018 and 2019 JnJ donated more than $21,500.

As Hentsu's partner charity, our CoolKids have been the beneficiaries for a number of networking events held at museums in New York City and London.

Engineers from Johnson & Johnson's Research & Development department are donating their time and talents to engineer a hygienic, low-cost, high-grade prosthetic cover specifically for our Joshi modular limb kit. We anticipate a completed project by the end of 2022 - make sure to check back to see this innovative addition to our Joshi in action soon!

We launched a partnership with Mobility+Designed, a midwest company that designed innovative forearm crutches to relieve the pain and pressure caused by traditional crutches, in early 2020.  Our partnership will allow us to provide our CoolKids with their revolutionary crutches at a cost to ALTSO of only $60 per pair -- allowing us to reach more children in need.

Each year the Portfolios with Purpose community comes together to compete in the world’s largest fantasy stock picking contest, with 100% of proceeds donated to charity. Thousands of contestants take on the professional investors of the PwP Master Class to answer the question: who is the world’s best investor? You can join different competitions throughout the year and select ALTSO as your charity of choice.

The Joshi packaging, generously designed by Prime Studio, was created to be universally used - from the packaging lines in our manufacturer in Gujarat, India, to transport carriers and local buggies, to medical staff.

Thoughtful structural design tracks the Joshi’s journey, streamlines inventory and easily scales distribution to help the Joshi reach children worldwide. Packaging is durable and protective for transport, sustainable and recyclable, and made stackable for minimal footprint and decreased warehouse and inventory costs.

Soon after its founding, SteelEye dedicated its charitable arm to our CoolKids. Supporting at events in NYC and London you'll be sure to catch SteelEye rocking for good and running for good. Since 2020, SteelEye has hosted an annual runathon in which they challenge other firms to see who can cover the most distance over the course of 5 days.

A long time partner, Studiobooth has been offering discounts and pro-bono services to our annual fundraiser in NYC. In 2019, Studiobooth upped its commitment and dedicated their entire set of services to our 2020 events, at no cost to us!

UPmovement was a social enterprise that existed to restore the freedom of human mobility by selling socks. UPmovement closed its doors in March 2023 and helped raise funds to support over 100+ children over the course of 6 years.
