A Leg To Stand On would like to all the following Foundation's for their generosity and support to enable ALTSO to treat more children with limb disabilities in the developing world. We are appreciative of all of the amazing work that these incredible Foundation's do throughout the world, and especially for their critical involvement with ALTSO.

Arthur B. Schultz Foundation

June 2013 - Present

Schultz Foundation ("ABSF") awarded A Leg To Stand On a grant of $15,000 to provide prosthetic & orthotic devices, mobility aids, clubfoot correction, corrective surgery and physiotherapy to 68 children in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Due to the success of their life-changing support, ABSF allocated an additional $17,000 grant to treat 65 more children through May 2015.

It is an honor for ALTSO to have been selected and we are committed to showing ABSF and the public the impact that they are making on the lives of children with limb disabilities in Cambodia. World of Children Award

November 2013 - November 2016

The World of Children Award, also known as the Nobel Peace Prize for non-profits, is an annual award given out to non-profits to elevate the most effective change makers for children world wide. In November 2013, A Leg To Stand On’s co-founder, Mead Welles, received the World of Children Health Award.

As part of this award, ALTSO received a grant of $75,000 to be allocated in equal installments over the next three years. ALTSO expects to treat over 500 patients with these funds, and is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the World of Children community.
