The 2007 Hedge Fund Rocktoberfest was a total blast! By our count, we had 1,300 happy rockers crammed into the two music rooms of B. B. King’s on October 18, dancing, humming along and cheering their favorite bands. Pequot Capital Management Inc., the event sponsor, and Ashwan Khanna of Explorer Capital both received ALTSO Champion awards for their support. And we'd like to offer special thanks to Chris Heasman, who organized the bands and the music, as well as bringing his own musical talent to the foreground, by performing with The Subscribers.

The event netted over $300,000, considerably more than we'd hoped for and $125,000 more than last year! Here's what the press had to say:
