ALTSO relies on the generosity of many donors, both large and small. It is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax deductible.

You can donate directly on line, using a credit card. If you would prefer to make a donation by check or fax, you can download a Donation Form and follow the directions provided.

You can also transfer your airline miles to ALTSO, which we will apply to support our medical missions in the countries we serve. Please contact us for more information on airline mile transfers.

DONATIONS IN KIND

ALTSO can accept donations in kind and arrange for their distribution. Such donations could include orthopedic devices, prosthetics and wheelchairs.

We would also be interested in the donation of T-shirts or other promotional items that could be used to raise funds.

And to help support our work in the office, a scanner, a laptop computer and a digital camera would be much appreciated.

VOLUNTEER

ALTSO can make use of your skills and energy in many different ways.

If you are a medical professional, and are interested in participating directly in one of ALTSO's programs, we would definitely like to hear from you.

We can use the help of graphic designers and advertising professionals for fund raising campaigns. We would like to engage with writers and journalists, to help us tell the ALTSO story and spread the word.

Use your online shopping experience to benefit A Leg To Stand On.

The online charity portal iGive has partnered with 680 reputable retail merchants who have websites so that shoppers can conveniently make a difference to the causes they support while buying things they need. A Leg To Stand On is one of the charities that has registered with iGive to receive a set portion of your total purchase.

To get started, please visit www.iGive.com and register. The process is simple, secure and swift.

How It Works:
Once you register and select A Leg To Stand On as your personal cause, you will be sent a welcome e-mail from iGive. From then on, anytime you make a purchase via the iGive channel at over 680 online stores, a percentage of your purchase will be donated to A Leg To Stand On.
